"I don’t know where my husband is," says Naseem Bibi, her voice a mixture of confusion and sadness. "He abandoned his very young children. It’s been three years, and we still don’t know anything about him."

Left alone to care for her children, Naseem faces an overwhelming challenge every day. "I have diabetes, and my sugar levels often spike," she admits, her health made even more fragile by the stress of her situation. "I plead and beg for others while providing for my children."

The weight of the responsibility is crushing. "No food to eat, never knowing where the next meal will come from," she shares, her eyes revealing the deep exhaustion and constant worry of not knowing how she will make it through each day.

Her greatest concern is for her daughters. "My girls are not literate. I can’t afford their education." Naseem knows that without education, her children may never have the chance to break free from this cycle of poverty. "Education may help them find a better man," she says quietly, her words reflecting the desperation of a mother wanting a better future for her children.

With no support, Naseem turns to others for help. "Please help me; I have no one to turn to. Help me get some food. My home is empty." Her plea for assistance echoes in the silence that follows, a cry for something as basic as food and the chance to give her children a better life.
