Nasreen Bibi sits quietly, watching her children play in the dirt. “They play in the dirt all day, wandering astray, nobody to look after them,” she says, her voice filled with sadness. The weight of her situation is clear as she looks at them, knowing that they have no one to guide them, no one to care for them the way they need.

Two years ago, Nasreen lost her husband. “Their father passed away two years back,” she says softly, the loss still fresh. Since then, life has been an uphill battle. “I don’t have enough money to support their education,” she admits. “I am in a bad situation, there’s no one to earn money. I’ve been sick and unable to recover.”

Her health has only added to the pressure she’s under, but even worse is the uncertainty she faces every day. “I’m worried about what lies ahead,” she says, her face reflecting the weight of her concerns. “I am helpless, please help us provide food and water.”

Donate Directly is working to provide critical support to Nasreen and her children—helping with food, water, and the resources they need to build a safe, stable home. You can help too and make a direct impact in their lives and give them the opportunity to build a brighter future.
