Sawan Sheedi’s days are filled with darkness—both from the weakness in his eyesight and the isolation that has taken over his life. "I can't see well, my eyesight is weak," he says.

"I am all alone," he shares, his voice tinged with helplessness. Without a home and unable to care for himself, he spends his days lying in one place, wondering how much longer he can survive in his condition. "What can I do?" he asks, the question reflecting his deep despair.

Sawan is an old man, his body worn and frail. "I cannot work much," he admits, and the limitations of his age and illness leave him with no access to the basic things most of us take for granted. "I don’t have access to food and water," he adds, his situation more dire by the day.

"I'm helpless and needy," he says, with a quiet resignation that echoes the exhaustion of his daily struggle.

Sawan's only hope is for someone to offer him the help he desperately needs. "I request a kind-hearted person to help me. Please build a home for me, do something for my illness, arrange for my treatment."
